Paula Chesterman:
Trained at the Royal Northern College of Music, Manchester, followed by a post-graduate course at Manchester University.
She taught in England, and for 19 years was Director of Music and Performing Arts at a grammar school in Kent.
She was latterly awarded Advanced Skills Teacher status.
Whilst teaching, she composed and arranged a variety of music for her students which was regularly performed at venues in the area.
She now lives in Bagni di Lucca, Tuscany, where she continues to teach and to write music. Her musical, 'Pinocchio' which she wrote for the children and staff of the International school in Modena, was successfully performed in December, 2010.
